The film, is by far one of the biggest releases of actor Asif Ali. Honey Bee 2, being the sequel of Asif Ali's big hit Honey Bee, is expected to give the actor a real big hit, yet again.

But, the bad timing of release did adversely affect the run of the movie at the box office.

Anuraga Karikkin Vellam, directed by Khalid Rahman, had Asif Ali and Biju Menon in equally important roles in it. The film opened to amazingly positive reviews and Asif Ali was spot on with his performance as Abhi. The film did hit the right chords with the audiences and emerged as a big hit at the box office.

Ithu Thaan Da Police (2016)
Ithu Thaan Da Police, marked the debut of Asif Ali in the role of a police officer. Te actor appeared in the role of a police constable in this venture which was touted to be a comedy. But, the film met with below average reviews and didn't do that good for the actor in him.

Rajamma @ Yahoo (2015)
Rajamma @ Yahoo directed by Reghu Raja Varma was one of the most expected movies of the actor in 2015. The film marked the reunion of Kunchacko Boban and Asif Ali, and they appeared as brothers in the movie. But, the film failed to make any mark in the minds of the audiences and the box office.

Kohinoor (2015)
Kohinoor, directed by Vinay Govind, had a story set in the late 1980's. Apart from Asif Ali, Kohinoor also featured Indrajith, Vinay Forrt, Chemban Vinod Jose, Aju Varghese in important roles. Kohinoor was in the lines of a heist movie and had its own shares of pluses and minuses.

Well, with Honey Bee 2, Asif Ali is expected to get that real big hit, which he is in search of. In fact, his previous two ventures were decent ones, with Anuraga Karikkin Vellam doing a real good business at the box office.
