CIA-Comrade In America, the recently released romantic movie which stars Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role, has been receiving mixed to positive reviews from all over. The Amal Neerad directed movie is also delivering a decent performance at the Kerala box office.
First Weekend (3 Days) Collections
When it completed the first weekend (3 days) at the box office, CIA-Comrade In America has made a total gross collection of 7.70 Crores from the Kerala box office.
The Second & Third Day Collections
The Dulquer Salmaan starrer has made a total collection of 2.89 Crores and 1.72 Crores on the second and third days of its release, respectively.
Initial Collections
Comrade In America made a grand opening at the box office, by making an initial collection of 3.09 Crores. Thus the movie emerged as the third highest initial collection grosser of Malayalam movie industry.
First Day Net Collection & Producer's Share
As per the reports, the movie has made a net collection of 2.48 Crores from the Kerala box office, with a producer's share of 1.46 Crores.
Second Day Net Collection & Producer's Share
On the second day of its release, CIA made a producer's share of 1.34 Crores from the Kerala box office. The movie also made a net collection of 2.31 Crores.
Effects Of Baahubali 2 Storm
The Baahubali 2 storm has undoubtedly effected the collections of CIA-Comrade In America. The mixed reviews received from the audiences and critics is also a reason behind the downfall in collections.
CIA, which marked the second collaboration of Dulquer Salmaan with director Amal Neerad, hasn't succeeded in impressing all types of audiences. But, the movie has been highly appreciated for its different making style, which is totally different from Amal Neerad's earlier films.
The trade experts suggest that the actual box office status of CIA-Comrade In America can only be determined by the end of this weekend. However, the team members strongly believe that CIA will definitely acquire the superhit status at the Kerala box office.
The Dulquer Salmaan movie has also been delivering a decent performance at the outside Kerala box office, and has impressed the non-Malayali fans of the actor. Comrade In America is expected to have an overseas release by the second and third weekend of May.
