Dulquer Salmaan-Amal Neerad Movie To Release In April?

Dulquer Salmaan starring untitled Amal Neerad project is one of the most anticipated Malayalam movies of 2017. If the reports are to be true, the team has finally fixed a release date for the movie.

According to the sources, the Dulquer Salmaan-Amal Neerad movie will hit the theatres on April 13th, Thursday, as a Vishu special release. However, the team has not confirmed the reports officially yet.

Earlier, the movie which is scripted by Shibin Francis, was slated to release on March 23. But the team was forced to postponed the release to April, due to the unexpected theatre strike organised by Exhibitors Federation.

The team is yet to finalise the title of the project, which revolves around Aji John, a Pala-based youngster and how he finds out his estranged girlfriend. Dulquer Salmaan essays the role of Aji John.

The movie will feature newcomer Karthika Muralidharan, the daughter of cinematographer CK Muralidharan, as the female lead opposite Dulquer Salmaan. Soubin Shahir, Jinu Joseph, John Vijay, etc. appear in the supporting roles

Ranadive handles the cinematography. Gopi Sundar composes the songs and background score. The movie is jointly produced by director Amal Neerad and Anwar Rasheed, for the banners Amal Neerad Productions and Anwar Rasheed Entertainment.
