Dulquer Salmaan and Amal Neerad, the actor-director duo is all
set to release their upcoming movie Comrade In America.
Recently, director Amal Neerad revealed some interesting details
about the movie.
It was rumoured that the movie was initially titled as
Sa.Kha, but the team later changed it into CIA.
But in a recent interview, Amal denied the rumours and revealed
that the team had finalised the title Comrade In America,
five months back.
But the team decided not to reveal the title until they finish
the shooting of the project. It was because director Amal Neerad
wanted to break the tradition of naming the movie even much before
the shooting starts.
Comrade In America, which is scripted by Shibin
Francis, started rolling during the mid-2016. The movie was shot in
three different schedules, at the various locations of Kottayam,
Mexico, and America.
CIA revolves around the life of a Pala-based youngster
named Aji John, who travels to America in search of his estranged
lady-love. Dulquer Salmaan essays the role of Aji, who is a strong
believer of Communist ideologies.
Newcomer Karthika Muralidharan plays the female lead opposite
Dulquer Salmaan in the movie. Comrade In America is
jointly produced by Amal Neerad Productions and Anwar Rasheed
