Amazing Opening For Ezra
Prithviraj starrer Ezra, which hit the theatres on February 10, 2017 is off to a flying start at the box office. Reportedly, the film which opened at close to 125 theatres in Kerala has fetched 2.65 Crores on its opening day at the Kerala box office.
The Great Father Teaser Is Out
The first official teaser of Mammootty's The Great Father is finally out. The teaser that features a stylish Mammootty went on to become a rage on the social media circuits upon its release.
Trailer Of Oru Mexican Aparatha Is Trending
The trailer of upcoming Malayalam film Oru Mexican Aparatha was released online on February 8, 2017. In fact, the trailer got a grand reception from the viewers and it even went on to set a record for the most viewed Malayalam movie trailer in 24 hours.The trailer has so far fetched 14 Lakh views on YouTube.
Jayaram Roped In For Prakash Raj's Movie
Prakash Raj is all set to direct actor Jayaram, in his next big directorial venture. Tagged as the dream project of Prakash Raj, the upcoming film will have its main theme based on the percussion instrument Chenda and the movie is expected to be made in Tamil and Malayalam.

1971 Beyond Borders Gets A Release Date
Mohanlal's next big venture, 1971 Beyond Borders, directed by Major Ravi is currently in its post-production stages. Reportedly, the makers have zeroed in on a release date of the movie and the movie is expected to hit the theatres on April 7, 2017.
With Ezra also garnering extremely positive reviews, Malayalam films are ruling the Kerala theatres. Previous releases like Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol and Dulquer Salmaan starrer Jomonte Suviseshangal continue their decent run at the box office.
Apart from Ezra, Suriya's Singam 3 also made it to the theatres in the past week. The movie did open big at the Kerala theatres on February 9, 2017 with the Suriya starrer grabbing close to 200 screens in Kerala. Singam 3 aka Si 3 too, did have a good opening at the Kerala box office.
