Oru Mexican Aparatha
Oru Mexican Aparatha will be the first movie to hit the theatres in the month of March. The film starring Tovino Thomas in the lead role has been directed by Tom Emmatty. This movie, which is one of the most awaited films of this season will grace the theatres on March 3, 2017.
Angamaly Diaries
Along with Oru Mexican Aparatha, this Lijo Jose Pellissery directorial will also grace the theatres on March 3, 2017. The film that features a host of newcomers in the lead roles has been scripted by actor Chemban Vinod Jose. The trailer and the songs of the movie have attracted the audiences and we definitely can expect something different from the film-maker.
Ayal Jeevichirippund
Popular screen-writer Vyasan K P's debut directorial venture, titled as Ayal Jeevichirippund will hit the theatres on March 10, 2017. Vijay Babu and Kammatipaadam fame Manikandan Achari feature in the lead roles in this movie, which is touted to be a feel-good movie.
Alamara
Midhun Manuel Thomas is all set to entertain the audiences with his latest directorial venture Alamara, which has been scheduled for a release on March 17, 2017. The film featuring actors like Sunny Wayne, Aju Varghese, Renji Panicker, Saiju Kurupp, Manikanadan Achaari, Aditi Ravi in prime roles is expected to be a grand feast for the audiences.
The Great Father
The biggest and the most awaited film, among all. Mammootty's upcoming venture The Great Father, directed by Haneef Adeni is all set for a grand release on March 30, 2016. The film will be one of the biggest releases of this year and is expected to make this month a special one with its performance at the box office.
Honey Bee 2
Honey Bee 2, the sequel to the 2013 superhit movie Honey Bee is all set to provide a fun time for the audiences. Honey Bee 2 will retain the same team from its prequel and has been helmed by Jean Paul Lal. The movie has been planned as a March release. The exact release date of Honey Bee 2 hasn't been revealed yet.
Georgettan's Pooram
Dileep starrer Georgettan's Pooram was earlier planned as a January release. Much like other Malayalam movies, the film was postponed due to the theatre strike. Certain reports are doing the rounds that the film might release on March 31, 2017. No official confirmation has been made regarding the same.
The month of March is normally considered to be not that good for new film releases owing to the exam season. Contrary to that belief, we have good number of releases in this particular month.
Among the above mentioned release, it is Mammootty's The Great Father, which is expected to make it big in the month of March. The teaser and the posters of the film have created that much needed hype for the movie.
