Now, if reports are to be believed, Mammootty is all set to join hands with another debut film-maker. Speculations are rife that the actor will be starring in renowned cinematographer Shamdat's debut directorial venture.
Shamdat is a renowned cinematographer who has made a mark of his own in Malayalam film industry. He also cranked the camera for the Tamil movies like Uthamavillain, Viswaroopam 2 etc. His renowned works in Malayalam include films like Ayal Njanalla, Rithu, etc. The cinematographer has also worked with Mammootty in Pramani and Vencile Vyapaari.
Nothing much has been revealed about this upcoming project. Reports also suggest that the film might go on floors this year itself.
Meanwhile, Mammootty has joined the sets of his upcoming movie with Syam Dhar. The actor will be seen in the role of a teacher trainer in this upcoming film. The actor has completed the shoot of his upcoming film Puthan Panam. Mammootty's next release is Haneef Adeni's The Great Father.
