Bhaskar The Rascal, the Mammootty movie that released in the year 2015, was one of the biggest hits of that year. The movie, directed by Siddique, had actress Nayanthara also in the lead role.

According to the latest reports, director Siddique is all set to do the Bollywood remake of the movie. The director himself confirmed the news during a recent interview with Manorama Online.

Reportedly, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been selected by the director to reprise the role done by Mammootty, in the original version.

Actor Sanjay Dutt is also on a comeback trial and it would be interesting to see this talented actor in the shoes of Bhaskar. Nothing much has been revealed about the rest of the cast of the film. The film is expected to go on floors by the month of September.

Earlier, the Tamil remake of the Bhaskar The Rascal was announced. In the Tamil version, Arvind Swamy will be doing the lead role. The shoot of the Tamil version would commence in the month of March.

Bhaskar The Rascal had Mammootty in full-form and the movie was a real entertainer. Now, let us wait and see to know how the Hindi version and Tamil version of the movie would turn out to be.
