Mammootty has pinned up high hopes on the year 2017 with some variety projects in his kitty that are expected to hit the bulls-eye. The actor at present is busy with the shoot of his upcoming film Puthan Panam, directed by Ranjith.

Reportedly, the actor would be seen as a character named Nithyananda Shenoy in the movie. Now, one of the selfies that the actor took in the sets of the movie has gone viral in online circuits. The actor posted the selfie on his official Facebook page. Take a look at the picture..

Actors like Suresh Krishna, Biju Pappan, Kottayam Nazir and Maamukoya can also be seen along with Mammootty in the latest selfie taken by the Megastar. Interestingly, all of them are seen wearing funky and cool dresses and they look stylish in this different attire.

Well, it definitely seems like Puthan Panam has something different to offer. Ranjith's new directorial venture is expected to be based on the current socio-economic situations of the country.

Interestingly, Mammootty would be trying his hands on the Kazorgod dialect for the first time with Puthan Panam. The film is expected to hit the theatres durng the Vishu season of 2017.
