CONFIRMED: Mammootty-Sethu Project Is Kozhi Thankachan!

Mammootty, the megastar is all set to launch yet another new director into the industry, Sethu. The actor is playing the lead role in the directorial debut of Sethu, who has already established himself as a scenarist.

In a recent interview, writer-director Sethu confirmed that the movie, which is an out-and-out comical entertainer, has been titled as Kozhi Thankachan. There were speculations regarding the movie since the beginning stage.

The movie will be a comical entertainer narrated in the backdrop of Kuttanad will feature Mammootty in the title role Thankachan. The megastar is playing a rural middle-aged man in the movie, which is scripted by Sethu himself.

As per the reports, Kozhi Thankachan will have three leading ladies. If the reports are to be believed, some popular actors including Miya George, Anu Sithara, Vedhika, Nyla Usha, Deepti Sati, etc., are in talks for the project.

The team is expected to announce the names of the leading ladies and further details about the movie soon. Young actor Unni Mukundan will foray into direction field by assisting director Sethu in the movie. Kozhi Thankachan is produced by Muraleedharan and Shantha Muraleedharan, for Anantha Vision.
