teaming
up
with
director
Major
Ravi
once
again,
for
the
upcoming
movie
1971
Beyond
Borders.
If
the
reports
are
to
be
believed,
the
team
has
decided
to
release
the
movie
on
April
7th,
Friday,
for
the
Vishu
season.
However,
the
1971
Beyond
Borders
team
members
are
yet
to
confirm
the
reports
officially.
Major
Ravi,
the
director
and
his
team
had
recently
wrapped
up
the
final
schedule
of
1971
Beyond
Borders
in
Georgia.
As
per
the
updates,
the
team
members
are
planning
to
start
the
pre-production
activities,
soon.
1971
Beyond
Borders,
which
is
a
prequel
to
the
first
instalment
of
Major
Mahadevan
series
Keerthichakra,
will
feature
Mohanlal
in
a
double
role.
One
of
his
characters
is
Major
Mahadevan's
father,
Sahadevan.
Interestingly,
the
actor
will
be
sporting
the
get-up
of
an
85-year-old
man
for
the
role
of
Sahadevan,
who
is
a
retired
soldier.
He
is
also
appearing
as
Mahadevan,
who
is
now
promoted
to
Colonel
and
working
for
UN.
Asha
Sharath
essays
the
female
lead
in
the
movie,
which
stars
Telugu
actor
Allu
Sirish,
Bollywood
actor
Arunodhay
Singh,
Saiju
