WHOA! Mohanlal Confirms Odiyan

Mohanlal, the complete actor is highly busy with a handful of promising projects in his kitty. Recently, Mohanlal officially announced his much-talked project Odiyan, thus putting an end to the speculations.

The actor confirmed that he is playing the lead role in Odiyan, which will mark the directorial debut of ad film-maker Shrikumar Menon. Manju Warrier will essay the lead role in the big-budget movie.

Odiyan will be produced by Mohanlal's close associate Antony Perumabavoor, for the banner Aashirvad Cinemas. The movie, which is said to be a fantasy thriller, is penned by the National award-winning scriptwriter Harikrishnan.

Renowned art director Sabu Cyril handles the production design. Pulimurugan fame cinematographer Shaji Kumar is the director of photography. The rest of the star cast and further details will be announced soon.

Mohanlal, who is highly excited about Odiyan, assured that the movie will be a total visual treat to the audiences. He also posted a picture with the team members of Odiyan, along with his post on Facebook.

The actor is currently busy with the second schedule filming of the upcoming B Unnikrishnan movie Villain. Mohanlal is playing ex-cop Mathew Manjooran in the movie, which will also have Manju Warrier in the female lead.
