WHOA! Mohanlal Enters 400-Crore Club

Mohanlal, the complete actor of Malayalam movie industry is on a high with the consecutive box office success. Interestingly, Mohanlal has now also become the first Malayalam actor, to enter the prestigious 400 Crores.

According to the trade analysts, the last four movies of the actor have together made more than 400 Crores from the box office. Thus, Mohanlal has once again proved that he is the undisputed king of Malayalam movie office.

Janatha Garage, the 2016-released Telugu Junior NTR starring action thriller, featured Mohanlal in a key role. The movie directed by Koratala Siva has made a total gross collection of about 140 Crores within its lifetime run worldwide.

Oppam, the first Malayalam release of Mohanlal in 2016, has made about 65 Crores from its worldwide run. The team is yet to reveal the details of the outside business done by the movie, which is scripted and directed by Priyadarshan.

Pulimurugan, the all-time highest grosser of Malayalam movie industry, made about 163 Crores from the worldwide box office and pre-release business till now. The Vysakh movie broke all possible pre-existing records of M'town.

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, the recent Mohanlal movie has collected more than 20 Crores from the Kerala box office, till now. Mohanlal has received about 8 Crores as his remuneration, from all these four releases together.
