Mohanlal, the complete actor is all set to play the central character in India's most expensive project Mahabharata aka Randamoozham. Now, Mohanlal has been trolled by the self-proclaimed film critic Kamaal R Khan aka KRK.

Shockingly, KRK has openly stated he feels Mohanlal is totally unfit for the role fo Bheem in Mahabharata, and has advised him to not wasted the money of producer BR Shetty. It is for the first time, KRK is taking a dig on a Malayalam actor.

KRK's harsh comments on Mohanlal hasn't gone well with the Malayalam movie fanatics, especially the die-hard Mohanlal fans. Kamaal R Khan has been heavily thrashed on his Twitter page, by the actor's fans, who are totally offended by his comments.

However, Mohanlal and Randamoozham/Mahabharata team members have been maintaining a dignified silence over Kamaal R Khan's insensitive comments. The actor and the team members reportedly that KRK needn't taken seriously.

Randamoozham narrates Mahabharata, through the perspective of the character, Bheeman. According to director Shrikumar Menon, the only choice for the role of Bheeman in the movie, has always been Mohanlal. Had the actor rejected the offer, Randamoozham wouldn't have materialised.

It is the dream project of Shrikumar Menon, who is one of the most popular ad film-makers of country. The director states that he has always been passionate about the Randamoozham novel, and feels that he is extremely fortunate to receive an opportunity to direct the film.

Interestingly, the team has already roped in an international casting agency, to handle the star cast of the project. According to director Shrikumar, it is too early to announce anything about the star cast of the movie.

The movie, which is a multilingual, will be released under the title Randamoozham in Malayalam. The other language versions will be released under the title Mahabharata.

The team is planning to make the movie in a larger scale, aiming the international audiences. Several renowned technicians, including Peter Hein are a part of the project. According to the director, it is impossible to materialise such a huge project in a restricted budget. The team wants the movie to be an all-time classic, which will be cherished by the upcoming generations.

Randamoozham/Mahabharata, which is expected to start rolling in 2018, will be released as two different parts. According to director Shrikumar Menon, the team is planning to release the first by the quarter of 2020, and the second part within another 90-100 days.

Reportedly, the movie will be simultaneously made in Malayalam, English, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi at the same time. The team is also planning to dub the movie into all the popular world languages so that it can reach the international audiences.

Director Shrikumar Menon also hopes that Randamoozham will bring the Oscars to India. If the reports are to be believed, AR Rahman is already in talks to handle the music department of the film. The team is expected to announce the rest of the star cast and further details, soon.
