Pulimurugan,
the
Mohanlal
starrer
emerged
as
the
all
time
highest
grosser
of
Malayalam
movie
industry,
by
breaking
all
the
pre-existing
records.
The
action
thriller
directed
by
Vysakh
introduced
the
100
and
150
Crore
clubs
to
Mollywood.
The
team
members
had
announced
that
they
are
planning
a
sequel
for
the
Mohanlal
movie,
considering
the
tremendous
response
from
the
audiences.
But
as
per
the
latest
reports,
Pulimurugan
might
not
get
a
sequel
anytime
soon.
Mohanlal,
the
lead
actor
is
highly
busy
till
2018,
with
some
highly
promising
projects.
Pulimurugan
director
Vysakh,
on
the
other
hand,
is
planning
to
direct
the
Mammootty's
Raja
2
and
Dulquer
Salmaan
starring
untitled
flick.
Udayakrishna,
the
writer
is
currently
scripting
for
the
upcoming
Mammootty-Ajai
Vasudev
movie,
which
will
start
rolling
in
April
2017.
After
completing
the
Mammootty
project,
he
will
start
the
scripting
of
Mohanlal-Joshiy
duo's
next.
The
Mohanlal-Joshiy
project
is
also
produced
by
the
Pulimurugan
producer
Tomichan
Mulakupadam
for
Mulakupadam
Films.
Thus,
it
has
been
confirmed
the
actor
is
not
joining
hands
with
Pulimurugan
team
for
a
sequel.
Mohanlal
recently
joined
the
sets
of
the
upcoming
B
Unnikrishnan
movie,
which
is
an
out-and-out
action
thriller.
The
actor
had
undergone
a
28-days-long
ayurvedic
treatment,
exclusively
for
the
stunt
sequences
in
the
movie.
