Mohanlal's Pulimurugan: Tamil Version Gets The Same Title!

Pulimurugan, the Mohanlal starring action thriller broke all pre-existing records of Mollywood, and emerged as the all-time highest grosser of the industry. Now, Vysakh-directed movie is all set to be dubbed into Tamil.

According to the sources close to the project, Pulimurugan will be dubbed into Tamil under the same title. Interestingly, lead actor Mohanlal himself has dubbed for his portions in the Tamil version as well.

Earlier, Mohanlal had lend voice for his portions in the Telugu dubbed version of the movie, Manyam Puli. Most of the Malayalam actors say not to dubbing, while their movies have been dubbed in other languages.

But, Mohanlal chose to be different, by dubbing for his portions in both the Tamil and Telugu versions. As per the latest updates, the team is yet to finalise the releasing date of Pulimurugan Tamil version.

Pulimurugan, which was released on October 7, emerged as the first Malayalam movie to enter the 100 and 150 Crore clubs. The movie also became the third all-time highest grosser of South Indian film industry.

The action thriller, which is scripted by Udayakrishna had a huge star cast including Telugu actor Jagapati Babu, Kamalinee Mukherjee, Lal, etc. Pulimurugan is produced by Tomichan Mulakupadam for Mulakupadam Films.
