WOW! Mohanlal Turns College Principal?

Mohanlal, the complete actor is all set to play a college principal, for the first time in his career. As per the latest reports, Mohanlal is playing a college principal, in the upcoming Lal Jose movie.

Earlier, it was rumoured that the actor is playing a professor in the movie. But as per the sources close to the project, Mohanlal is playing the role of a principal, not a professor in the untitled project.

The movie, which is said to be an out-and-out comical entertainer, will mark the first association of Mohanlal with the hitmaker, Lal Jose. Popular scenarist Benny P Nayarambalam pens the screenplay and dialogues for the movie.

The team is yet to finalise the female lead and rest of the star cast of the movie. The untitled project, which will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor for Aashirvad Cinemas, is expected to start rolling by mid-2017.

Mohanlal and Lal Jose were originally supposed to join hands for a multi-starrer titled Cousins, which also had Prithviraj in a pivotal role. But Mohanlal backed off after shooting for a couple of days, post his fallout with the production team.

Later, the media and fans started speculating that all is not well between Mohanlal and Lal Jose. But the duo immediately put an end to the rumours by announcing their first collaboration, for Aashirvad Cinemas.
