Mohanlal starrer Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has turned out to be a big blockbuster. The film, which hit the theatres in january, did recently join the 50-Crore club, as far as worldwide collections are considered.
Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol is doing a stunning business in UAE/GCC centres, as well. The film did hit the theatres in UAE on February 16, 2017.
Reportedly, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has crossed the 10-Crore mark at the UAE box office. In fact, Mohanlal's previous release Pulimurugan had also crossed the 10-Crore mark at the UAE box office. Now, with Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, Mohanlal has two consecutive movie in the 10-Crore club.
Interestingly, Pulimurugan did cross the 10-Crore mark at the UAE box office within the first weekend itslef. Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol took 21 days to achieve the feat. The film is expected to do a good business in the coming days, as well.
Meanwhile, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol is still doing a decent business in certain centres in Kerala. According to the reports, the film crossed the 30-Crore mark at the Kerala box office. The release of new movies has slightly affected the box office collections of the Mohanlal starrer.
