What Happened To Nivin Pauly's Kayamkulam Kochunni?

Kayamkulam Kochunni, the historical drama which stars Nivin Pauly in the titular role, is one of the most anticipated upcoming projects of Malayalam cinema. The movie, which is directed by Roshan Andrews, was announced in August 2016.

However, there are absolutely no updates about the Nivin Pauly starrer from the past few months, to the much disappointment of the Nivin Pauly fans. Now, the gossipmongers suggest that Kayamkulam Kochunni has been dropped.

Earlier, it was rumoured that Nivin Pauly is planning to shed a few kilos and will learn the kalaripayattu for the perfection of his role in the movie. But now, the actor seems to be having totally different plans altogether.

Nivin Pauly has signed some really promising projects, including Geetu Mohandas's Moothon, Shyamaprasad's Hey Jude, and a few Tamil projects. As per the close sources, the actor is fully occupied for the year.

Director Roshan Andrews, on the other hand, is currently on a break and has not revealed any details of Kayamkulam Kochunni after the official announcement. Scenarist duo Bobby-Sanjay have also been maintaining silence about the project.

It was reported that Kayamkulam Kochunni will have several prominent faces in the cast and crew, including Kabali fame music director Santhosh Narayanan and Baahubali fame sound designer Satheesh.
