Nivin Pauly's Sakhavu Bags A Clean U Certificate

Nivin Pauly, the crowd-puller is joining hands with the National award-winner Sidhartha Siva for the first time, for the upcoming movie Sakhavu. The movie, which is stars Nivin in a double role, is slated to release on April 15.

Sakhavu recently completed the censor formalities and bagged a clean U certificate from the censor board. Lead actor Nivin Pauly announced the news through his official Facebook page, recently.

Nivin Pauly is appearing in a double role, as Sakhavu Krishnan and student leader Krishnakumar in the movie, which is said to be an intense political drama. The movie is scripted by director Sidhartha Siva, himself.

The director, who is also a very popular actor, has earlier shared the screen with Nivin Pauly in Puthiya Theerangal, the 2012-released Sathyan Anthikad movie. Sakhavu is expected to be a turning point in the career of Nivin Pauly.

Jomonte Suviseshangal fame actress Aishwarya Rajesh essays the female lead opposite Nivin Pauly in the movie. Senior actor-writer Sreenivasan, Aparna Gopinath, Gayathri Suresh, etc., appear in the other pivotal roles.

George C Williams, who rose to fame through the Tamil films Kaththi and Theri, is the director of photography. Prashant Pillai composes the music. Sakhavu is produced by B Rakesh for Universal Cinema.
