Prithviraj has some big projects lined-up for the year 2017. Here, we list the upcoming movies of Prithviraj in 2017.
Well, the year 2016 was a kind of a decent one for the actor, but it definitely didn't meet the expectations of the viewers, since the bar that he had set in the year 2015, was higher.
Now, all eyes are on the actor's 2017 and Prithviraj has some real big projects in his hand, which are expected to make wonders at the box office. Once again, he has made it a point to select films of different genres and these projects are sure to make the year 2017, a special one for the actor.
Here, we list some of the upcoming movies of Prithviraj in 2017. Certain films among these would release in this year itself whereas the others are expected to go on floors.
Ezra
Ezra will be the actor's first release of the year. The film, which is in the lines of a horror thriller is high on expectations. Prithviraj will be seen as a character named Ranjan Abraham, in this film directed by debutant Jay K. Ezra will hit the theatres on February 10, 2016.
My Story
Once again, Prithviraj will be seen sharing the screen space with Parvathy. The onscreen pair was previously seen in the blockbuster movie Ennu Ninte Moideen. The upcoming film My Story has been directed by Roshni Dinakaran. The shoot of the film has been completed and major portions of the movie were shot in Portugal.
Vimaanam
Here is another project of Prithviraj, which is high on expectations. The first look poster of the movie was released recently. In Vimaanam, directed by Pradeep M Nair, Prithviraj will be seen in the role of a youngster who dreams to make an aeroplane. Reportedly, Prithviraj was heavily impressed by the script of the film. Vimaanam is expected to take off soon.
Tiyaan
The upcoming big budget film of Prithviraj, directed by Geeyen Krishnakumar will also feature Indrajith in an important role. The actor and his fans have pinned up high hopes on this film, scripted by Murali Gopy. One more schedule of the film has to be completed and the actor will be joining the movie in the coming days.
Adam
Jinu Abraham, who had scripted movies like Masters and London Bridge, will don the hat of a director with Adam. Prithviraj will appear as a rich planter in this film, which would be in the lines of a family entertainer.
Naam Shabana
Prithviraj is back to Bollywood. And this time he will be seen playing an important role in the upcoming film Naam Shabana, which is the prequel to Akshay Kumar starrer Baby. The film features Taapsee Pannu in the lead role and there are reports doing the rounds that Prithviraj will be seen as the antagonist in the film.
Lucifer
Well, we don't know whether this film will go on floors, this year or not. Anyways, the film which marks the directorial debut of the actor and his first association with Mohanlal is one of the highly anticipated upcoming movies. We hope that the makers would come up with an announcement soon, regarding the shooting dates of the film.
Apart from the above mentioned projects, Prithviraj's big budget venture Karnan is another project worth waiting for. The film is in its pre-prodction stages and reports suggest that the film may go on floors in 2017.
The actor is also a part of Kamal's upcoming project Aami. Prithviraj will also be seen in Gautham Menon's upcoming film, which will be a multi-starrer.
