But here, we are going to talk about their movies, which didn't do that well at the box office despite being quality ones. Director Priyadarshan in a recent interview given to Club FM UAE, opened about his two films with Mohanlal that didn't meet his expectations at the box office.

According to the director, he expected his movies Mukundetta Sumithra Vilikkunnu and Mithunam to be hits at the box office. But surprisingly, both the films couldn't garner success at the box office.

Just like the film-maker, even we can't believe that those two films weren't big successes at the box office.

Mukundetta Sumithra Vilikkunnu was a beautiful romantic story enveloped in a comedy track. Meanwhile, Midhunam, that featured Mohanlal and Urvashi in the lead roles was one of the first movies that addressed husband and wife issues in the most genuine way.

Nevertheless, both these movies do enjoy a cult classic status even now and are among the lists of favourites of the audiences.
