Sakhavu, one of the most awaited movies of Nivin Pauly of the year 2017, has hit the theatres today (April 15, 2017). The film, is the actor's first release of the year and his fans and the entire Malayalam film audiences have pinned up high hopes on this venture.
Directed by Sidhartha Siva, Sakhavu is expected to be

Krishnakumar and Krishnan. It is for the first time that the actor

Sakhavu is Aishwarya Rajesh's second release in
Malyalam after the Dulquer Salmaan starrer Jomonte
Suviseshangal. Interestingly, Sakhavu was the first
movie signed by Aishwarya Rajesh in Malayalam, but it was
Jomonte Suviseshangal that first hit the theatres.
Sooraj S Kurup’s Debut As An Actor
Young music director Sooraj S Kurupp, who shot to fame with his
work in the film Valleem Thetti Pulleem Thetti, makes his
debut as an actor with Sakhavu. The musician will be seen
in the role of a comrade in this Nivin Pauly starrer.
One Of The Biggest Releases Of Nivin Pauly
Sakhavu is one of the biggest releases of Nivin Pauly,
so far. The film, directed by Sidhartha Siva is releasing in close
to 120 theatres in Kerala alone. Sakhavu is expected to
make a huge opening at the box office.
George C Williams Makes An Entry To Mollywood
George C Williams who had cranked the camera for popular Tamil
movies like Raja Rani, Naanum Rowdy Thaan, Theri etc., has
cranked the camera for Sakhavu. It is his first movie in
Malayalam. Earlier, he had worked for the music album
Yuvvh, directed by Aphonse Puthren.
When Affected By Note Ban..!
Incidentally, the shoot of the film was slightly affected by the
note ban, which came to effect in November 2016. The shoot was
halted for a few days due to unavailability of currency and was
later resumed after a few days.
The team of Sakhavu did make it a point to promote the
movie, pretty well. Team Sakhavu, comprising of Nivin
Pauly, Sidhartha Siva, producer B Rakesh etc., participated in a
road show from Thalassery to Vadakara, as a part of the promotions
of the movie.
