WOW! Tabu Steps Into Vidya Balan's Shoes In Aami?

Tabu, the super-talented Bollywood actress is all set to make a comeback into Malayalam cinema. If the reports are to be believed, Tabu is all set to step into Vidya Balan's shoes, in the much-awaited project Aami.

As per the sources, director Kamal and his team immediately approached Tabu for the role, after Vidya Balan backed off from the project. Reportedly, the senior actress is highly impressed with the screenplay and is keen to do the film.

According to director-writer Kamal, he penned the screenplay of the movie with Vidya Balan in his mind. Even though the team tried their level best to convince the actress, she backed out from the project at the last minute.

Reportedly, Vidya backed off from the project, stating that she is facing difficulties in understanding the character. Kamal later openly thrashed the actress in an interview, by stating her actions as unprofessional and unethical.

However, the team is now relieved that they have finally found out the most appropriate face to portray Kamala Surayya aka Madhavikutty. Aami, which is made with a budget of 5 Crores, will also feature Prithviraj and Murali Gopy in the key roles.
