The Great Father Box Office: Expected Day 1 Gross

The Great Father, the Mammootty starring family thriller has made an extraordinary opening at the Kerala releasing centres. The movie, directed by Haneef Adeni hit the theatres as the biggest ever release in Mammootty's career.

The Mammootty starrer hit 240 screens (220 theatres) all over Kerala, thus emerging as the all-time biggest ever release of Malayalam cinema. The Great Father also had more than 80 fans shows all over Kerala.

While considering the enormous theatre list and unmatched rush for advance bookings before the release, there are high chances for The Great Father to break all the pre-existing initial collection records of Mollywood.

It is a fact that Mammootty hasn't had an impressive box office success in the past few years. But, the tremendous response received by The Great Father hints that the movie might emerge as the all-time highest grosser in the megastar's career.
