a
comeback
to
Mollywood,
after
a
long
gap
of
almost

decades.
Reportedly,
Vishal
has
joined
the
upcoming
Fahadh
Faasil-Venu
project,
which
has
been
titled
as
Carbon.
As
per
the
latest
updates,
the
veteran
director-music
composer
has
been
roped
in
to
compose
the
songs
and
background
score
for
Carbon.
It
is
the
second
Malayalam
outing
of
Vishal
Bhardwaj,
who
entered
the
industry
with
the
1998-movie
Daya.
Daya,
which
marked
the
directorial
debut
of
cinematographer
Venu,
also
had
Vishal
Bhardwaj
on
board
as
the
music
composer.
The
songs
of
the
movie
had
earned
wide
appreciation
from
both
the
audiences
and
critics.
Carbon,
which
is
said
to
be
a
raw
suspense
thriller
movie,
will
have
Fahadh
Faasil
in
the
role
of
Sibi,
a
rough
youth.
Mamtha
Mohandas
essays
the
female
lead
opposite
Fahadh
Faasil
in
the
movie,
which
will
be
majorly
shot
in
forest
areas.
If
the
reports
are
to
be
believed,
the
team
is
planning
to
shoot
Carbon
entirely
using
the
sync
sound
technology.
The
popular
Bollywood
cinematographer
KU
Mohanan
has
been
roped
in
as
the
DOP
of
the
project.
Munnariyippu,
the
last
directorial
venture
of
Venu
which
has
Mammootty
in
the
lead
role,
was
a
highly
acclaimed
project.
The
director
is
expected
to
reveal
more
details
about
the
cast
and
crew
of
Carbon,
very
soon.
