Big B, the 2007-released Mammootty movie was a path-breaking attempt in Mollywood. Dulquer Salmaan, the young actor has a special connection with Big B, which broke all pre-existing stereotypes associated with the male leads of our cinema.

In a recent interview, Amal Neerad, the director of the movie revealed Dulquer's connection with the stylish thriller. Interestingly, the young actor was the first person outside the team, to watch Big B on the silver screen.

Director Amal and his team had arranged a special screening for Dulquer Salmaan in Chennai, just a few days before its theatrical release. Dulquer, who was yet to pursue a movie career that time, was highly impressed with Big B.

Now, after 10 years of Big B, Amal Neerad is joining hands with Dulquer Salmaan, for his new project. The movie, which has been titled as Comrade In America, marks the second association of the actor-director duo.

Dulquer Salmaan and Amal Neerad teamed up for the first time, for the segment Kullante Bharya in 5 Sundarikal. The director states that he developed a comfort level with the young actor, during the filming of the movie.

Comrade In America aka CIA, which is said to be a breezy love story, stars Dulquer Salmaan in the role of a Pala-based youngster, named Aji John. The movie, which is produced by Amal Neerad himself, will be released in April.
