Thoovalsparsham is the 1990-released multi-starrer which had Jayaram, Mukesh, and Saikumar in the lead roles. Suresh Gopi and Urvashi also essayed pivotal roles in Thoovalsparsham, which was directed by Kamal and written by Kaloor Dennis.

The movie, which was a critical and commercial success depicted the story of three bachelor roommates and how their life changes after they find an abandoned baby girl at their door step one day.

Here we list the names of the actors, whom we feel are the perfect choices for the main star cast if Thoovalsparsham is remade now....

Tovino Thomas as Unnikrishnan

The role of Unnikrishnan, a small town guy who leads a colourful bachelor life in the city was played by Jayaram in the original. If the movie is being remade now, Tovino Thomas will make a perfect choice for the role.

Asif Ali as Boney

Boney, the character essayed by Mukesh in Thoovalsparsham is a complete playboy who has a string of roles. From the current slot of actors, Asif Ali will be the best choice for the role.

Aju Varghese as Vinod

Vinod, the character played by Saikumar in Thoovalsparsham, is a real prankster. If the movie is being remade at present, the perfect choice for the role is Aju Varghese.

Unni Mukundan as Ananda Padmanabhan

The role of Ananda Padmanabhan, the civil service trainee who was forced to leave his pregnant girlfriend for the family, is tailor-made for Unni. The role was essayed by Suresh Gopi in the original.

Anu Sithara as Maya

The role of Maya, the baby girl's mother and Ananda Padmanabhan's ex-girlfriend, was originally played by Urvashi. If the movie is being remade now, Anu Sithara will make a good choice for the role.

Thoovalsparsham is inspired by the 1987-released American movie Three Men And A Baby, which itself was a remake of the 1985-released French movie Three Men And A Cradle.

Saloo George was the director of photography. Ouseppachan composed the songs and background score. K Shankunni handled the editing of the movie, which was produced by Evershine Productions.

Baby Farzeena Bai appeared as the central character Kingini in the movie, which had Ranjini, Mamukoya, Oduvil Unnikrishnan, Bahadoor, Sukumari, Valsala Menon, Santhakumari, James, etc., in the supporting roles.

Thoovalsparsham was remade into Telugu in the same year, under the title Chinnari Muddula Pappa. The movie was also remade in Tamil as Thayamma and in Hindi with the title Heyy Babyy.
