Cobra – Movie Review
Cobra, written and directed by Lal has Mamootty and Lal play the lead role in the film.

Story

Raja (Mammootty) and Kari (Lal) are best buddies who hail from Kottayam and are boxers by profession based out of Delhi. They are extremely close to each other and are lovingly referred to as Cobras.

The two love being called that way and decide to settle down in a place starting with Co (Ko). Though they initially think about settling in Kottayam, the two friends end up in Coimbatore. The two friends also have the desire to marry sisters Raji and Kari, played by Padmapriya and Kanika.

What follows is a roller-coaster ride of funny and engrossing tale that they go through.

Strengths

Camera by Venu, editing by V Sajan and music by Alex Paul are top class. Cobra, with the right combination of comedy, action, family drama and romance is most likely to attract more audience and might even manage to fetch more collections at the Box Office.

Weakness

Cobra is quite an entertainer. The script of the film could have been made much stronger.

Performances

Top notch performances by Mammootty and Lal. Together, the two are a treat to watch. Lalu Alex is very good as usual. Padmapriya and Kanika would have been better if they were given a more meaty role.

Overall, Cobra is fun-filled film and should not be missed if you enjoy watching comedy.
