Romans Movie Review - It's a comic caper

The Ordinary team of Biju Menon, Kunchacko Boban are back with a bang! Romans, directed by Boban Samuel and starring Biju Menon, Kunchacko Boban and Niveda Thomas, gives you exactly what you want - Loads of fun along with the right amount of action, horror and suspense.

The plot of Romans reminds you of the Hollywood blockbuster We're No Angels starring Robert Deniro Sean Penn. The audience is taken on a joyride as the two protagonists embark on the various escapades that form part of their adventure. Dialogues and action sequences are brilliant. Even when the film gets serious, the director makes sure that there is liberal dose of humour.

Romans narrates the tale and adventure of two thieves played by Biju Menon, Kunchacko Boban who escape from a train while they are being transported to a jail. The two land up in a far off village between Tamil Nadu and Kerala. There they disguise themselves as priests who have been ordained from Rome.

Brilliant performances by Biju Menon and Kunchacko Boban form the highlight of Romans. Biju Menon's comic timing and his serious look while delivering a funny line is hilarious. Kunchacko Boban has taken leaps as far as acting is concerned and he compliments Biju Menon in every way. Niveda Thomas has nothing much to do and her role is pretty much forgettable.

Watch Romans for Biju Menon and Kunchacko Boban.
