pivotal
role.
Jayaram
and
Sibi
Malayil
joined
hands
after
a
long
break
of
9
years
with
the
movie.
Njangalude
Veettile
Athidhikal
is

Story
Adv.
Manoj
Kumar
(Jayaram)
and
Bhavana
(Priyamani)
is
a
mismatched
yet
loving
couple,
who
lives
in
the
city
with
their
daughter.
Manoj
is
a
money-minded
person
while
Bhavana
is
very
composed
and
she
lives
in
the
world
of
books.
The
couple's
daughter
dies
in
an
accident
and
that
makes
Bhavana,
an
introvert.
She
tries
to
hide
herself
in
the
world
of
books
and
this
creates
a
gap
between
her
and
Manoj.
Bhavana
slowly
starts
suspecting
Manoj
and
thinks
that
he
has
affairs
with
his
female
colleagues.
She
conveys
her
problems
to
her
friend
Maya
(Lena).
Maya
advices
Bhavana
to
take
revenge
on
Manoj
by
entering
into
an
affair
with
a
dangerous
person.
Bhavana
writes
a
letter
to
the
criminal,
who
is
a
client
of
Manoj
(Kalabhavan
Shajohn)
by
imagining
another
appearance
for
him
(Narain),
which
does
not
exists.
Bhavana
starts
imagining
that
the
criminal
is
visiting
her
and
starts
a
conversation
with
him.
Manoj,
who
witnesses
this
incident,
realizes
the
mental
condition
of
his
wife
and
takes
her
to
a
psychiatrist.
At
the
same
the
time,
the
original
criminal,
who
gets
converted
into
a
nice
human
being
after
reading
Bhavana's
letters,
comes
to
visit
her.
This
forms
the
crux
of
the
story.
Cast
and
Performance
Jayaram,
who
plays
Adv.
Manoj
Kumar,
disappoints
with
his
repetitive
role
and
performance.
The
actor
has
nothing
to
do
with
the
role,
which
shows
uncannible
resemblance
with
his
earlier
characters.
Priya
Mani
shines
as
Bhavana,
a
mother
who
lost
her
child
and
a
woman,
who
lives
in
her
own
imaginary
world.
Lena
and
Narain
impresses
with
their
power-packed
acting
skills.
Innocent
and
KPAC
Lalitha
has
nothing
much
to
do;
but
plays
their
parts
well.
Kalabhavan
Shajohn,
who
played
the
criminal
who
receives
Bhavana's
letter,
deserves
a
special
mentioning.
The
actor
has
played
his
role
to
near
perfection.
Script
and
Direction
The
major
drawback
of
the
movie
is
its
script,
which
falls
into
low
phase
right
from
the
beginning.
Some
portions
of
the
movie
shows
extreme
similarity
with
various
other
movies,
which
discussed
about
the
psychic
problems.
K
Gireesh
Kumar
fails
to
make
the
plot
engaging,
with
his
soul-less
script.
Sibi
Malayil's
comeback
fails
to
impress.
The
director,
who
made
a
bunch
of
iconic
movies,
made
a
wrong
choice
with
the
theme,
which
he
selected
for
his
comeback.
Technical
Aspects
Sameer
Haq
did
a
good
job
with
his
cinematography.
Bijith
Bala's
editing
is
not
up
to
standards,
as
the
movie
runs
through
a
low
phase
from
beginning
to
end.
Music
and
Background
Score
Bijibal
excels
with
the
background
score.
But,
Ratheesh
Vega's
songs
are
not
up
to
expectations.
Verdict
Only
recommended
to
strong
Jayaram
fans.
