Noorjahan is born to a traditional middle class Muslim family. Though her family keeps traditional values, Noorjahan is quite modernised in her thinking and also in her attitude. She is a researcher in Physics and keeps her own thoughts and views in everything in her life. She values other's opinion but, she believes firmly in what she does.
Things goes out of hand for Noorjahan after she meets Shahjahan, a Sufi musician. She falls in love with him. His sister Salima is her close friend and this helps her to meet Shahjahan frequently. Now, Noora's approach to Shahjahan leads them to certain spin on the tale and the rest is the story of Noora.
A great round of applause goes to Mamta Mohandas for executing the role as Noorjahan to its perfection. There was not even a single shot which gave us a thoight that she just recovered from an illness. Krish J Sathar, Kaniha, Archana Kavi, Ambika and the rest of the cast have done full justice to their done roles
Cinematography by Azhagappan was not up to the mark. Visuals could have been captured with more blissfulness. But, all the songs and its background have been beautifully screened. The songs too suit to the mood of the film. Lyrics by Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma and Gopi Sunder's music is indeed an advantage to the film. The script of the film was good though it had some flaws here and there.
To Noora With Love is a one time watchable flick for all those who prefer romantic films. The direction do have some flaws which is clear on the screen. Otherwise, it is a decent flick to watch!
