Cast and Performance

The movie have Unni Mukundan, Dulquer Salmaan and Namitha Pramod in the lead roles. Anoop Menon, Lena, Charmila, Joy Mathew, Santhosh Keezhattoorand and Sidhartha Siva plays other important roles in the movie. Young actor Nivin pauly appears in a cameo role.

Dulquer Salmaan shines as the lazy Adithyan, who wants to live his life in his own terms. Unni Mukundan perfectly plays the handsome, hardworking Vikraman, who is an ideal youngster in everyone's eyes. Namitha Pramod looks gorgeous onscreen and completely fits into the typical heroine role.

It is Anoop Menon, who surprises the audience with his power packed perfomance as Vasudev Shenoy, a failed lover and a protective father. Lena completely lives her role of a widowed mother. Charmila, Joy mathew and Sidhartha Siva does complete justice to their roles. New comer Santhosh Keezhattoor deserves a special applause. Nivin Pauly, made a bang with his cameo role, Lokesh.

Script and Direction

Iqbal Kuttipuram's script creates a lagin the first half, but slowly comes back to form in second half. Some irrelavant scenes and frequent song sequences reveal the weakness of the script in the first half.

Hit maker Lal Jose has made a perfect recipe for a festival season entertainer.

Techincal Aspects

Jomon T John's cinematography makes the frames look fabulous; especially in the song sequences. Ranjan Abraham's editing is not upto expectations as the movie sinks into slow pace frequently.

Songs and Background Score

Bijibal made an impact with the song Maanthe Chandanakeeru; but fails to impress with the other songs. But he once again proves his excellence in background score, which completely sinks into the plot of the movie.

Verdict

In short, Vikramadithyan is a one-time watchable flick. The movie is a complete entertainer for the festival season.
