Aanandam, which has a group of young actors in the lead roles, has hit the the theatres today (October 21, 2016). The film has been produced by Vineeth Sreenivasan under the banner, Habit Of Life productions.
Ganesh Raj, who has worked as an assistant to Vineeth
Sreenivasan in the past, makes his debut with Aanandam.
The film has its script written by the director himself.
Aanandam was shot in various locations like Kochi,
Hyderabad, Goa etc.
The story of Aanandam revoloves around a group of
engineering students namely Varun, Gautham, Dia, Kuppi, Darshana,
Akshay and Devika. The gang of students along with their classmates
venture out for a college tour spanning 4 days. They cover various
places and the film takes you through their fun-filled journey and
certain interesting incidents.

Ganesh Raj has struck the right chords with Aanandam.
Being an Engineering graduate himself, he has been able to etch out
the right essence of college life. He has presented the fun moments
in a realistic manner. There are certain lagging moments in the
second half, but he makes up for it by coming back strongly, each
time. In fact, the freshness in presentation is sure to appeal the

It has to be said that Aanandam has marked the
impressive debut of a group of youngsters. Arun, Thomas, Annu,
Anarkali, Roshan, Siddhi, Vishak etc., have played their part
