Karinkunnam Sixes Story

Aby and Vandhana are a married couple, who are volleyball players by profession. Aby is a coach who is planning to set up a new team with prisoners, called Karinkunnam 6s.

But, he meets with an accident and Vandhana is forced to take over the charge of the team. How she trains the team and how they win a prestigious match, forms the crux of the story.

Cast & Performances

Manju Warrier has delivered a decent performance as Vandhana, an efficient volleyball coach and a loving wife. Anoop Menon is at his usual best as Aby.

The rest of the star cast, including Suraj Venjarammoodu, Babu Antony, Sudev Nair, Lena, Sudheer Karamana, Padmaraj Ratheesh, Baiju, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Manikuttan, Nandu, Jacob Gregory, etc. have also played their parts convincingly.

Script & Direction

Deepu Karunakaran, the director has succeeded in bringing out the film as a perfect blend of a powerful, engaging plot and essential entertainment factors. Arunlal Ramachandran scores with his tightly packed screenplay and soulful dialogues.

Technical Aspects

Jayakrishna Gummadi's exceptional visualisation creates the perfect ambience for the sports-based movie. V Sajan's effective editing makes the movie a crispy, thrilling watch.

Music

Rahul Raj's deserves a special applause for the beautiful songs. The young musician has also done a good job with the decent background score.
