Long delays in movie releases usually have disastrous results at the box office, recently the release of much awaited 'Sangharsh Yatra', a biopic on the late BJP leader Gopinath Munde delayed is making rounds in the news.
The film that was scheduled to release on 11th December, a day before late Gopinath Munde's birth anniversary was postponed at the last moment by the makers due to some 'technical issues', confirmed director Sakar Raut and Producers of the film through a message on social networking site, the makers also stated that the release date will be announced soon.
A source says, the film have attributed to delay, when daughter of late BJP leader, Pankaja Munde objected to some of the scenes after watching the final cut of the film 'Sangharsh Yatra' and she wanted the makers to redo those scenes that might affect the film.
The film that stars actor Sharad Kelkar as Gopinath Munde and Shruti Marathe portraying Pankaja Munde among others, the film is presented by Om Siddhivinayak Motion Pictures in association with BJP Chitrapat Union and produced by Suryakant Baji, Sandeep Ghuge, Mukund Kulkarni and Raju Baji.
While the maker's blame the 'Technical Issues' for the film's delay, we wonder if it is really so or the reason behind it is Pankaja's objection to certain scenes in the film? Well that can be proved only after the film's release which will be announced soon.
