Konkona sings for Sunglass

Following the bandwagon of actors turning singers, actress Konkona Sen Sharma is all set to sing for Rituparno Ghosh's forthcoming film Sunglass. This is for the first time she will sing for a film. The lyrics are written by Prasoon Joshi. Konkona will be singing in Hindi as well as Bengali since the film is made as a bilingual in both the languages.

Sunglass is her third film with Rituparno Ghosh. Jaya Bachchan plays her mother in the film. Apart from this film Konkona is also doing Pradeep Sarkar's next film. This comes as a surprise from Konkona who is known for her roles in offbeat cinema.

From art films to Yashraj camp is a big leap. Interestingly even in the Pradeep Sarkar film, produced under the banner of Yashraj, Jaya Bachchan will be playing her mother. Rani Mukherjee plays her sister in the film. Now this is a womanpower combination to look forward to.
