Indian classical music has reached overseas and the artists of the
country have been well accepted there as well. The University Of
Michigan, Center for South Asian Studies has taken one more step
forward inrecognizing the Indian classical music form and has
invited the renowned vocalist Sugata Marjit from India to perform.
The University has organized an Indian classical music concert
titled “Sangeet Sandhya" at the Britton Recital Hall of the North
