Vijaya Shanker releases her first album 'Teri Meri Raah'

Singer Vijaya Shanker's first album 'Teri Meri Raah' was officially launched at Hotel Lalit Ashok in Bangalore on 6th August. The music release event was attended by media and various film personalities and music directors. Kannada stars like Tharun Chandra and director Prashanth Raj, Indrajit lankesh, Gurukiran were present on the occasion.

The album 'Teri Meri Raah' was appreciated by every present at the event. The title track and 'Tu Na Jaane...' mesmerised the public. It was an evening of glitz and glamour, where Vijaya sang a few numbers from her album and also some of her Kannada movie songs from Love Guru, Double Decker, Aaadu Aata Aadu and so on.

'Teri Meri Raah' is the first pop music album of Vijaya Shanker. She has sung nine songs and Lesle Lewis has composed music and produced the album. The uniqueness of the album is its sound completely acoustic giving importance to the vocalists voice texture and melody.

However, 'Teri Meri Raah' is about a girl's journey in love and how two strangers get attracted to each other, but both take a while to express. It deals with their meeting and separation. Finally, the girl going ahead and expresses her love for the boy.
