Britney rules cyberspace

Washington (ANI): 'Britney Spears' is the most popular Yahoo search term of 2007 owing to the pop princess' adventurous year. This has been quite an interesting year for the 26-year-old star including a stint in the rehab, a shaved head and many other antics that included attacking a paparazzo's car with an umbrella, losing custody of her children to ex-husband Kevin Federline and releasing her first studio album in four years. The 'Toxic' star is no stranger to the Yahoo Top 10 list as she's topped the list six times out of the past seven years, reports E! Online.

World Wrestling Entertainment was placed second on the list for the second year in a row. This has more to do with the curiosity generated by Chris Benoit, the wrestler who killed his wife and son before committing suicide in June. Paris Hilton came in third on the list, owing to her 45-day jail sentence in a hasty driving case. Naruto, a Japanese manga cartoon and Beyonce, rounded off at fourth and fifth place respectively.
