London (ANI): Sir Paul McCartney has signed a 10 feet long
guitar, which will go under the hammer in London later this year to
raise money for three charities. The former 'Beatle" endorsed the
hand-painted giant instrument at the Gibson Guitartown London
exhibition on Wednesday. “I fancied playing with a big guitar.
Hopefully the guitar will catch the imagination of the public and
whoever buys it at the auction and raise money for The Prince"s
Trust, Teenage Cancer Trust and Nordoff Robbins — great charities,"
the Sun quoted McCartney as saying.
Fifty-nine other guitars will also be auctioned along with the
giant instrument. All the guitars in the exhibition have been
signed by famous names including Noel Gallagher, Robert Plant, Paul
Weller, Ozzy Osbourne.
