After
sending
an
explosive
email
to
Paris
Hilton
and
Britney
Spears,
PETA
protesters
have
now
hit
the
streets
to
protest
against
their
recent
purchases
of
little
dogs.
Dressed as pop dog carriers Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, PETA protesters led a campaign on August 2 to shed light on the problems caused by buying pets through a breeder. Wearing Britney and Paris masks and holding signs reading, "Shelter Dogs Are Dying and I Don't Care," PETA members raised their voices against dog breeder and pet stores.
Paris purchased another pet Chihuahua from the same Beverly Hills store where Spears picked up her new terrier London recently.
According to the animal rights organization, for every dog or cat purchased from a breeder or pet store, another dog or cat on death row at an animal shelter must be killed. "Forget jail or rehab. These selfish stars should do a stint in an animal shelter." Hopefully, they've already had all their shots," TMZ quoted PETA Director Daphna Nachminovitch, as saying.
