Washington (ANI): Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has revealed that he has collaborated with singer Amy Winehouse for a new track. Although Doherty has not yet disclosed the role of Winehouse in the new song, but his guitarist Mik Whitnall has revealed that the band recorded with Winehouse in Wiltshire last week. Whitnall said that the band is extremely impressed by Winehouse's talent.

"She plays better than James Brown playing acoustic guitar. She thinks she's sh*t, but she's not," Contactmusic quoted Whitnall, as telling NME.com. "I've never met a girl who plays like that, let alone a man," he added. In an XFM interview to be aired at 22:00 BST on Oct 17, Doherty said that a track entitled '1939 Returning" was one of the new tracks he has been working on. "I'm going to try and get Miss Winehouse to help me with it hopefully", Doherty said.
