James Blunt, Petra Nemcova end affair

James Blunt and Czech model Petra Nemcova have split up. The Czech model and the 'You're Beautiful' singer are said to have drifted apart because of their busy careers and mutually decided to call time on their relationship. A friend of Blunt's said: "They split in February. It's very amicable." Another source added: "James and Petra didn't get to spend enough time together because their careers have kept them on different sides of the globe for much of the time."

News of their split comes after the 33-year-old singer was seen partying at Hollywood's Teddy's nightclub with actress Lindsay Lohan before going to her home last week. Blunt, a former British Army captain, and Nemcova, 27, were last seen together during the Oscar season in February. They were seen at a number of glitzy parties including Sir Elton John's Oscar bash. Blunt and Nemcova met in December 2005 and began dating the following year. It was model's first serious relationship since losing her fiance Simon Atlee in the Asian tsunami disaster in 2004.
