Washington
(ANI):
Singer
Rihanna
has
lost
a
lot
of
pals
over
the
years
because
they
became
jealous
of
her.
The
'Umbrella" hitmaker
reveals
that
she
had
learnt
to
cope
with
the
emotion
from
an
early
age,
for
she
lost
friends
in
school
when
they
became
resentful
that
she
had
won
a
beauty
pageant.
"When
I
was
in
school
I
had
a
lot
of
jealousy.
I
lost
a
lot
of
my
friends
to
jealousy
when
I
won
a
beauty
pageant,"
Contactmusic
quoted
her,
as
saying.
And,
things
only
got
worse
when
she
grew
up,
for
when
she
signed
with
her
record
label,
the
19-year
old
lost
even
more
pals
because
of
the
green-eyed
monster.
"When
I
signed
my
record
label
it
got
worse.
People
were
very
envious,"
she
revealed.
She
recently
admitted
that
she
was
'weirded
out"
after
visiting
a
strip
club.
Recently,
the
'Umbrella"
hitmaker
visited
the
place
to
have
a
glimpse
of
strippers,
after
reading
a
few
film
scripts.
The
19-year-old
said
that
she
visited
the
club
because
she
was
'curious",
and
that
she
didn"t
learn
any
dancing
tips.
"I
went
with
some
friends
to
a
strip
club
not
long
ago.
I
went
because
I
was
very
curious.
I
didn't
learn
any
dancing
tips,"
Contactmusic
quoted
Rihanna,
as
saying.
"I've
been
reading
some
film
scripts
so
I
had
to
go
to
see
what
it's
like.
I
was
very
weirded
out,"
she
added.
Rihanna
is
reportedly
dating
actor
Shia
LaBeouf.
The
couple
have
been
dating
for
a
few
months
now.
The
singer
is
obsessed
with
Indiana
Jones
star
Shia,
who
is
filming
the
fourth
part
of
the
action
movie
series
with
veteran
Harrison
Ford.
“Shia
and
Rihanna
is
officially
a
couple.
It"s
the
talk
of
the
Indiana
Jones
4
set,"
The
Sun
quoted
a
source,
as
saying.
The
pair
was
spotted
romancing
in
Beverly
Hills
restaurant
Kate
Mantilini
on
Tuesday.
Troubled
singer
Britney
Spears
would
have
ruled
the
charts
had
she
not
turned
down
the
chance
to
record
superhit
track
'Umbrella."
American
music
Umbrella"
hitmaker,
who
created
the
track,
has
admitted
that
Spears
was
offered
the
song
before
Rihanna
made
it
a
number
one
hit.
Stewart
made
the
revelation
to
British
singer/songwriter
Taio
Cruz.
"I
was
working
with
Tricky
in
his
studio
the
day
he
finished
Umbrella.
As
soon
as
I
heard
it
I
said,
'That
is
a
smash,
I
have
to
have
it,' but
he
told
me
it
was
on
hold
for
Britney,"
Contactmusic
quoted
Cruz,
as
saying.
“He
waited
but
Britney's
people
never
called
him
back,"
he
added.
Rihanna
turned
the
song
into
a
chart-topping
hit,
holding
the
number
one
spot
in
the
U.K.
chart
for
an
astounding
10
weeks.
