Adele's song becomes 'Top Single of 2008'

New York (ANI): Singer Adele's second song 'Chasing Pavements' has been named the Top Single of 2008. On December 3, 2008, 'Chasing Pavements' was nominated for Grammy Awards for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. It was also featured in three episodes of Hollyoaks, reports the New York Post.

Black Kids' 'I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend' landed the second spot. 'American Boy', a Grammy-nominated second single from the album Shine by English hip hop singer Estelle and features American rapper Kanye West, came third. MGMT's 'Electric Feel' stood fourth and Lykke Li's 'Little Bit' rounded pff the top five.
