London (ANI): Apple Corps have given the go-ahead to computer game based on the legendary group 'The Beatles'. The company owns the master recordings of the Beatles' work. However, it has yet to be decided as to which firm will produce the new game. The two firms that are trying to bag the project are Activision, makers of Guitar Hero, and MTV Games, responsible for Rockband.
Talks with the two companies could not only pave the way for a multi-million dollar video game deal, but also broader licensing of the Fab Four's unrivalled back catalogue, reports the Sun. The Beatles are one of the most commercially successful and critically acclaimed bands in the history of popular music. The Beatles are the best-selling musical group in history.
