Washington
(ANI):
Britney
Spears'
ex-husband
Kevin
Federline
is
reportedly
shocked
that
the
singer
didn't
make
much
effort
to
win
custody
of
their
two
young
sons.
Federline
gained
sole
custody
of
Sean
Preston,
two,
and
Jayden
James,
one,
earlier
this
month
(Jul08),
following
a
bitter
18-month
court
battle.
Getting
the
sole
custody
means
that
he
now
has
to
manage
being
a
full-time
parent
to
his
sons
and
looking
after
his
two
kids
from
a
previous
marriage.
Federline
is
said
to
be
adamant
that
Spears''
should
take
an
active
role
in
bringing
up
the
boys.
"Kevin
loves
his
sons,
but
he
didn't
aim
for
sole
custody.
He
wanted
to
be
a
co-parent
and
didn't
expect
Britney
not
to
fight
for
custody," Contactmusic
quoted
a
source,
as
telling
British
magazine
Closer.
"He
never
wanted
full
responsibility.
He
believes
both
parents
should
take
an
active
role.
It''s
tough
being
a
single
parent,
plus
he
already
has
another
two
children,"
the
source
added.
