Alternative
rock
band
Coldplay
was
bagged
two
prizes
at
the
Q
Awards
ceremony
in
London.
They
took
home
the
best
album
award
for
Viva
La
Vida
or
Death
To
All
His
Friends,
and
the
best
act
in
the
world
today
gong.
Their
frontman
Chris
Martin,
31,
picked
up
the
best
album
prize.
During
his
acceptance
speech,
Martin
declared
that
Coldplay
was
'the
greatest
band
in
the
world',
though
he
retracted
the
comment
later.
"Well,
not
quite
the
biggest
band.
U2
are
on
holiday.
Radiohead
are
on
holiday," the
BBC
quoted
him
as
saying.
Martin
later
returned
to
receive
the
best
act
in
the
world
today
award.
"I
don't
think
we're
the
best
act
in
the
room,
let
alone
the
world,"
he
added.
