Dannii Minogue gives up on Botox injections

London, (ANI): X Factor judge Dannii Minogue has decided to give up on Botox injections after they left her face frozen and expressionless. The decision came after Minogue, 37, revealed that viewers could no longer tell what facial expression she was pulling after the jabs made her lines disappear and she became the butt of many jokes.

"A lot of people think I have had a million surgical things done but I haven't. And in terms of ageing, surgery isn't a first option," Daily Star quoted her as saying. "As for Botox, for the job I do now I need to express myself so I'm not having that any more," she said. Minogue, who is also upset about being portrayed as the reality show's Ice Queen, revealed the surgery she had done in the past.

"It didn't make me happier. If you link cosmetic surgery into happiness or to be perfect you're never going to be happy," she stated. And a source has revealed that the Aussie star's botox use is more popular than her mentoring. "Dannii's Botox is becoming a bigger talking point than her mentoring skills," the source said.

"People have started to be quite cruel about it, even Louis Walsh has made fun of her a few times. "Last year she was know as the young, sexy judge and now, because of Cheryl's arrival, she's been branded the old has-been. "This is hard for Dannii to deal with but, instead of having more Botox to compete with Cheryl, she has decided to stop having injections completely," the source added.
